About the Project
ATTENTION
The project has been temporarily stopped, due to reasons beyond our control. We’ve been asked to have all donations sent elsewhere for now, as there is currently no means of organizing and distributing them. We’re not sure if this will change, but as soon as we have more information, we will let you know.
The rest of this page is the original site content, so feel free to continue reading.

Bagram AFB hospital is providing virtually all the medical care for Afghan children. These children are severely undernourished and neglected. And nearly all of them don’t have the most basic possessions, like shoes. So we’re asking you to send your new or used shoe donations — or clothing, blanket, coats, etc. — to the military volunteers stationed there. Those volunteers have assured us any donations sent will be delivered to these children in such great need.
What makes this so easy to do?
Everyone has old shoes! And it costs no more to ship these to a military APO address in Afghanistan than it does to ship them to your grandmother in Florida.
But there are a LOT of Afghanistan children and we need your help. Please, get involved (FIND OUT HOW HERE) and spread the word today.

Read the blog entries to the left to hear stories and see photos of these children and their “new” shoes. And please tell us YOUR stories of sending them. We want to hear from you!
Contact us at info@afghanistanchildren.org with questions and comments.
